Does your child want to ride a pony?

You are in the right place. Shetland Pony Club is the perfect way to start riding for your child. 

Our well trained Shetlands and friendly team can help your child’s pony dreams come true. Our ponies are safe and friendly and your child will be lead by our experienced team. We can help even the most nervous child have a magical pony time.

Shetland Pony Club is open at weekends and in the school holidays.

Bookings are now open for a whole season of pony fun until end November 2019

The ponies would love to welcome you to ride them at the weekends and school holidays. from March – November. You can enjoy each weekend:

    • Starter Rides –  are 45 minutes long and specially designed first riding experiences for children from age 2½ years old. They cost £40 per child.
    • Pony Mornings – are 2 hours long and specially designed as early riding experiences for children from age 4 years old. They cost £55 per child.

How do I book my pony riding?

Riding is by appointment only. You can book online here for the whole season now.  Do book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Easter Egg Hunt at Shetland Pony Club

We are open daily until Sunday 21 April 2019.  Pony riding is by appointment only – do book ahead as we get busy.

We are closed on Easter Bank Holiday Monday 22 April 2019.

Easter Egg Hunts –  Come and take part in our fun Shetland Pony Treasure Hunts especially for Easter, with riding along a trail and chocolate eggs to find in the countryside. Easter fun for children aged 4 to 10 years old. two spaces

  • 15 – 18 April 2019 10am – 10.45am
