Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Ranch reopening plans underway
We are excited to let you know that we are making plans to reopen Shetland Pony Club, in line with the latest government guidelines and advice from the Association of British Riding Schools. Whilst we don’t have a firm date yet, we will keep you updated on our opening plans. For our latest information and for those with upcoming bookings click here. We would love to see you for pony fun, when it’s safe. (Updated 3 June 2020).
Booking is by appointment only, so please do book a pony ride before visiting us. We do get very busy so please book well in advance to avoid disappointing the children.
Opening times – term time from March to November
Shetland Pony Club is open at WEEKENDS only during the school terms:
- Saturday 9am -1pm
- Sunday 10am – 1pm
Saturday and Sunday afternoons are reserved for private birthday parties and occasional starter rides
Opening times – school holidays
In the Easter, May Half Term, Summer holidays and Autumn Half Term week we open from 10 am -1pm
Camp days run from 9.30 am – 4pm
The ponies rest on Fridays ( only exception is Good Friday Egg Hunts)
Please visit our ponies by appointment only. We do get very busy so please book well in advance to avoid disappointing the children.
Bank Holiday Mondays – closed
We close on Bank Holidays Mondays to attend external events or let our ponies rest, so do check before visiting us.
We close from December to February
Shetland Pony Club closes over the winter from December to February. This gives the ponies a well earned winter holiday.
