Eclipse arrived to Shetland Pony Club in 2026. One of our youngest Shetland ponies at 5 years old, he lived in the West Sussex before coming to The Ranch. He is a chestnut colour, with a beautiful mane and tail and has a special black mark on his face and a white stripe.This makes him a very unique Shetland pony.

Size: ponies and horses are measured in hands (the width of a grown-up’s hand is about 4 inches). This adorable pony is 10 hands and 2 inches high (10.2hh), making him one of the bigger for Shetland ponies – also called a Standard Shetland.
Name: Eclipse is his name because of the unique black mark he has which overlaps his white stripe.
Experience: he has been well trained and loves children and he enjoys being groomed and ridden. He has been shown and won prizes.

Personality
