Summer Camp is in full swing at Shetland Pony Club.
The ponies and children are enjoying the award winning programme that our team have designed for maximum pony fun and learning. Each summer camp day has a theme and Vet day is one of our most popular.
The children learn what it takes to care for their ponies health and what it really takes to become a real vet. On Vet Day the children take the Association of British Riding schools certificate in pony health and get a special rosette and certificate at the end of the day
Over the years over 20 of our team have gone to Vet school at university and some of them are now fully qualified vets working with horses. They come back in the summer and help us with our action packed vet day.
