Peanut arrived to Shetland Pony Club during in March 2026. He came with his best friend Snoopy. He came all the way from Suffolk.
Peanuts is a chestnut colour, similar to our other pony Simba.

Size: ponies and horses are measured in hands (the width of a grown-up’s hand is about 4 inches). Peanuts is 9 hands high (9hh), making him a good size Shetland.
Experience: he has been ridden by small children and loves to be groomed.

Where the name came from: Peanuts is the name of a much-loved comic strip called Peanuts created 75 years ago with Charle Brown, a small boy looking after a dog called Snoopy. It is still featured in newsparers all over the world, online and on Apple TV
