There’s something for all children aged 2½ – 10 at Shetland Pony Club. Our friendly Shetlands are well trained, placid and waiting for you to come and enjoy riding and caring for them.
Here’s our guide to help you choose what’s right for you. Whether it’s a first riding experience for a 2½ year old that you’d like to buy as a birthday treat for a grandchild, or a way to own a pony of your own, we’ve something that will suit.
Which pony ride should I choose?
Starter Rides – are 45 minutes long and specially designed first riding experiences for children from age 2½ years old. They cost £40 per child.
Pony Mornings – are 2 hours long and specially designed as early riding experiences for children from age 4 years old. They cost £55 per child.
Mini – Membership – your chosen pony every week for 45 minutes from March – November from 3 years old. £155 per month – waiting list.
Pony Share Membership – your chosen pony every week for 2 hours from March – November from 5 years old. £225 per month – waiting list.
