Shetland ponies explore the bluebell woods
This week we join the Shetland ponies as they explore the bluebell woods at Shetland Pony Club. Our native bluebells have a wonderful scent – yet the Shetland ponies don’t eat them.
Bluebells grow naturally in woodlands in the British Isles. They love the dappled shade and flower in late April and early May.
Can you see the ponies treading carefully on the path through the bluebell woods so that they protect the beautiful blue carpet of flowers?
The ponies love visiting the beautiful woods. What do they find there?
