Enjoy Shetland Pony Clubs Review of 2025 as we look back on lots of innovative activities that we started during the year. There were: adorable new Shetland ponies, a new Ranch Manager, a Pony Crew Training Scheme, a Special Members VE Day Gymkhana, Sunset Walks, Pony Picnics, Mini Parties and Unicorns and Dragons Week. Phew! There were so many special times to enjoy.
The adorable Shetland ponies would like to wish all our customers, suppliers and friends from all around the world, a Happy New Year. We look forward to welcoming you back after the ponies’ winter holidays.

A 5 Star Animal Welfare Licence is very hard to pass. Every year the council and a special veterinary inspector come to check that the ponies are healthy, happy and enjoying their work, and every 3 years they come and check everything.
Lots of cleaning and checking
Preparing for a 5 Star Animal Welfare Licence inspection takes several weeks. The ponies have to be really clean and healthy and all the saddles and bridles have to be in good repair and sparkle too.
Fantastic facilities
The inspector checks the stables, fields, fences and water troughs to see that they are safe for the ponies to live healthily and happily.
Paperwork galore
Records need to be kept of the ponies feeding, vets visits, dental checks, passports, training and exercise too.
Ponies pass health check
Every pony is checked for his eyes, breathing, heart, weight and soundness. He has to pass a thorough inspection for the licence.

Pony Membership – a pony of your own each week, 2 hours, from age 4+ £275 per month.
Mini Membership – a pony of your own each week, 45 minutes, from age 3+ £195 per month.
Join us and our 5 Star Shetland ponies on the last few Own a Pony Experiences and Starter Rides in the beautiful Surrey Countryside before we close for the winter.

Pony Birthday Party options, availability and prices
We have 2 pony party options available:
Maxi Pony Party – 7-18 riders – large stylish Ranch with lots of adorable ponies. Pony brushing, riding and party games, organised by our friendly team, creating magical memories for your child’s birthday. 3-10 years. Weekends: 2:30pm – 4:30pm £600 for 7- 8 riders, £30 per extra rider
NEW – Mini Pony Party – up to 6 riders – stylish Safari Tent with an adorable Shetland pony for each child and a friendly team to help, creating magical memories for your child’s birthday. 3-10 years. Weekends: 2:30pm – 4:30pm £450 for up to 6 riders (max)
