Take part in our gentle and fun MiniHalloween Pumpkin Rides – ideal for those little people age 3+. Enjoy Halloween-themed pony dress up and learn to ride along a short pumpkin path, followed by a candy trail and a rosette presentation.
Each child will have their own pony and helper. The perfect non-scary treat at Halloween for your little witches and wizards aged 3 to 6 years old. 3/4 hour long. £65 child. Children may come in fancy dress.

Our Legendary Halloween Pumpkin Rides are back! (Age 4-10)

Enjoy our legendary Halloween Pumpkin Rides, which are themed pony treasure hunts for pony-mad witches and wizards. Enjoy 1½ hours of pony riding and learning at The Ranch, during October Half-Term.
Halloween Pumpkin Rides start with pony dress-up Halloween style, followed by a long beginner’s ride through our beautiful meadows to a pumpkin candy trail. There are special rosettes for all riders.
Each child will have their own pony and helper. The perfect Half Term treat at Halloween for your little witches and wizards aged 4 to 10 years old. 1.5 hours. £85 child. Children may come in fancy dress.
Please note your child MUST be 4 years old at the time of their ride. If you have children age 3 please book the mini ride which will be appropriate for them.

You can experience a pony of your own, the easy way, with Pony Share Membership. Learn to ride, build a bond with your pony, come regularly to our club and enjoy pony fun in the countryside.

Learn to ride at Shetland Pony Parties – wonderful learn to ride Shetland pony parties for children aged 3 – 10 years old. Use of a private facility, your children can bond with our adorable ponies and learn to ride them, creating magical memories for your child’s birthday. Two hours.
There are 2 learn to ride a pony options for your child to enjoy every weekend:
Starter Rides are 3/4 hour long and specially designed first-riding experiences for children. For children from age 3 +. £55 per child.
Own a Pony Experiences – are two hours long and are delightful early riding and learning experiences for children from age 4 years old. £85 per child.

Starter Rides are 45 minutes long and specially designed first-riding experiences for children. Includes pony grooming and a ride on their own adorable Shetland pony. We are excited to let you know that we are making plans to reopen Shetland Pony Club, in line with the latest government guidelines and advice from the Association of British Riding Schools. Whilst we don’t have a firm date yet, we will keep you updated with our opening plans. Keep an eye on this weekly email and the website for more information. Strictly Limited Shetland Pony Visiting – Sunday 14 June 2020
Due to the success of our trials of Shetland Pony Club members visiting their ponies, we are delighted to announce that this Sunday afternoon 14 June 2020 we will have limited ponies available for non-member, social distancing Shetland Pony Visiting and wildflower photography. Bookings are strictly by appointment only.
Please understand your child will NOT BE RIDING due to 2m social distancing rules, just pony visiting, grooming, and a chance to walk a pony with supervision through the meadows. There will be a chance to take photos of your child and pony.
There will be very strict and unbreakable rules, for everyone’s safety. You may bring only ONE adult and ONE child per booking. No exceptions. Parents must be able to help their child, by leading a pony under our supervision. You can download our rules for attending these sessions on our website here
Session duration: 45 minutes, Cost £40. Vouchers are accepted. Bookings strictly by appointment only.
All paid bookings from July onwards – should it become apparent that we are not going to reopen from July, all paid bookings will be issued with a voucher code in due course, to enable you to rebook at a future date to suit you.
Parties – we will contact you to discuss your party booking.
Gift Vouchers – expiry dates will be extended if you are unable to use them within the current expiry period.
