New Shetland pony, Snowdrop, makes 3 friends
Our new Shetland pony, Snowdrop, is getting used to life at The Ranch with all the other Shetland ponies.
When a new pony arrives, he needs to make friends with all the ponies and we must be careful that they don’t chase him. When he has made lots of friends, he can start to join in with every activity at Shetland Pony Club.

Summer Holidays Booking Update
There are just a few more ponies available for riding in the summer holiday. Do come and join us for pony fun before the children go back to school.
Pony Mornings – are 2 hours long and are delightful early riding and learning experiences for children from age 4 years old. Children enjoy both riding and pony care. They cost £55 per child.
Last Pony Mornings of the summer holidays are on:
- Sunday 25 August – 2 spaces
- Tuesday 27 August – one space
- Thursday 29 August – 2 spaces
- Sunday 1 September – spaces
Starter Rides – are 45 minutes long and are specially designed as first riding experiences for children from age 2½ years old. They cost £40 per child.
Last Starter Rides of the summer are on:
- Sunday 1 September – spaces
- Sunday 15 September – spaces
