Marvellous Moon Daisies
We are so lucky to have amazing wildflower meadows filled with Oxeye Daisies that are also called Moon Daisies after Diana, the goddess of the moon. These glorious white flowers are wonderful to ride through and great for wildlife and nature.
Pony Polishing
For the perfect photo the ponies need to be super clean and polished, with shiny manes and tails. Some of our ponies don’t seem so keen to get ready. Can you spot who is going the wrong way?
Summer pony camp days and weeks – enjoy the whole day with your favourite Shetland pony. Learn to ride him, look after him and enjoy being with him all day long. 9:30am – 4pm, Summer holidays only. Age 5+. £150 per day or £600 per week.
Own a Pony Experiences – are two hours long and are delightful early riding and learning experiences for children from age 4 years old. £75 per child.

Pony Birthday Party options, availability and prices

Maxi Pony Party – 8-18 riders – large stylish Ranch with lots of adorable ponies. Pony brushing, riding and party games, all organised by our friendly team, creating magical memories for your child’s birthday. 3-10 years. Weekends: 2:30pm – 4:30pm £600 for 8 riders £30 per extra rider
NEW – Mini Pony Party – up to 6 riders – stylish Safari Tent with an adorable Shetland pony for each child and a friendly team to help, creating magical memories for your child’s birthday. 3-10 years. Weekends: 2:30pm – 4:30pm £450 for up to 6 riders (max)

Shetland pony Creme Brulee is booked for a photoshoot with some special hoof boots today. Let’s join him as he gets ready for the camera crew.
Farrier visit to get ready
The first job for Shetland pony Creme Brulee is to have his feet trimmed by the farrier to make sure that he is looking his best. It’s a very skilled job to be a farrier – it takes 4 years of training and apprenticeship to learn the trade. Watch how it’s done – Crème Brulee is very relaxed and enjoys his pony pedicure!
Pony beauty spa to get ready
Pony pedicure complete, Shetland pony Creme Brulee is then brushed, shampooed and made to look gorgeous for his modelling session.
Photoshoot in action
Crème Brulee loves having his photo taken – there’s practice shots with the farrier, then lots more to make sure that he is looking his best. Can you see Creme Brulee in the perfect photo?

Starter Rides – are 45 minutes long and are specially designed as first riding experiences for children from age 4 years old. They cost £40 per child. Extra spaces available this weekend.
Own a Pony Experiences – are 2 hours long and are delightful early riding and learning experiences for children from age 4 years old. They cost £60 per child. Extra spaces available this weekend.

Farriers visit before the Modelling Day
Creme Brulee needs his hooves to be in tip-top shape and really smart, so the farrier is visiting him to give his hooves a special trim up. Trimming hooves is a very skilled job and the farrier has to train for 4 years to learn his trade. Creme Brulee knows that he has to be patient and is very good with his pony pedicure!
Photo shoot for Crème Brulee
Come and see Creme Brulee the Shetland Pony being brushed and washed and all ready for his Modelling Day. He loves being the centre of attention and has a great time at his photoshoot, with lots of gorgeous pictures taken. Well done Crème Brulee!

Halloween Pumpkin Rides – Come and enjoy our legendary themed pony treasure hunts for pony-mad witches and wizards. Enjoy 1½ hours of pony riding fun at The Ranch. From age 4 years old – £60 per child. Almost Full.
Shetland Pony Club is proud to be one of the first riding schools in the country to be awarded the Association of British Riding Schools Certification for COVID-19 Safe Working Practices. Having risk-assessed our riding in the light of the government guidelines, we have changed the age for riding to a minimum of 4 years old, until further notice.
For children aged 2.5 – 4, we hope to be able to resume riding soon. Keep an eye on our weekly email, social media and the website here for more information.
