Royal wedding live at the Ranch and Windsor

Royal wedding live at the Ranch and Windsor

Join us for the Royal wedding celebrations at the Ranch and at Windsor where Liz had a close-up view of the carriage procession. What an atmosphere and such a perfect happy day.

Royal wedding pony fun

We had a weekend of pony fun at Shetland Pony Club – getting into the spirit of the Royal wedding with flags for Meghan and Harry and even tiaras for the ponies.  We had special rosettes and bunting made in purple and gold – the Queen’s racing colours.  The ponies dressed up in flags and we took lots of photos too.

Watch the video to see how well behaved our ponies were with all the dressing up, photos and excitement.

The real Royal wedding procession

Take a look at the Royal wedding procession up close with Liz.  Listen to the crowd and soak up the atmosphere.  See how good the horses in the procession were at coping with all that flag waving and noise.

Were all the royal procession horses well behaved?

Shetland ponies get ready for the Royal wedding

This week we watch the Shetland ponies get ready for the Royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.  Watch them try on flags to see if they would be good on parade, as we get ready for our own Royal wedding celebrations at The Ranch.

Royal wedding horses

We went to see the actual horses that will be in the Royal wedding parade as they practiced for their big day at the Royal Windsor Horse Show last week. See how shiny the horses are and how calm they are with crowds and noise.  The Horse Guards and the Life Guards and their horses will be on parade as well as the Mounted Band of The Household Cavalry. See them performing in this weeks’ film.

Do you think it would be easy to play a musical instrument and ride a horse at the same time?

How do the drummers on the drum horses steer their horses?

Let’s hope they are on their best behaviour for the Royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Saturday!
