It’s summertime at Shetland Pony Club and we are gearing up for our epic Summer Camps!
At Summer Camp you can spend the whole day with your favourite Shetland Pony. You must be 5 years old to join us on Summer Camp.
You can join us for one day of camp or a whole week which is 4 days, Monday-Thursday.
Summer Camp is filling up fast so do book a space to avoid disappointment.
At Summer Camp we have special themed days. One of our most popular days is pony paddling where we take the ponies swimming in the river. It’s such a unique experience and lots of fun!
Come and join in with our fun sports day at camp, where you can learn to hit a polo ball and do relay races with the ponies.
Summer camp is all about having fun with your favourite Shetland Pony, spending the whole day with him, and getting to know him. You can even do pony agility with him.
Summer Pony Camp Days and Weeks for 2022
Enjoy four days packed full of pony fun with your favourite Shetland Pony. Suitable for children from 5 years old and above. 9:30am – 4pm each day.
£540 per child per week (4 consecutive days Monday-Thursday).

Own a Pony Experiences – are two hours long and are delightful early riding and learning experiences for children from age 4 years old. £65/ child. New availability Sunday 10th July 14:15-16:15, Saturday 16th July 14:15-16:15.
Shetland Pony Parties – back on for 3 year olds! Amazing pony parties for children aged 3 -10 years old. Use of a private facility with 6 ponies, creating magical memories for your child’s birthday. One and a half hours – £650 for 10 children. Extra riding children (up to 18), £25 each. Very popular-Availability from July
Shetland Pony Walking is the perfect way for older children, teenagers and grown-ups to enjoy Shetland ponies in the lovely Surrey countryside. Come and spend time, enjoying and leading your very own Shetland pony. £45/ person. Saturday 30th July 2:15pm, Saturday 17th September 3:15pm

After a long winter break, the ponies are excited to see the children return! They need a big breakfast as it’s going to be a busy day with lots of riding.
We’ve had new saddles made and we’ve made some repairs to the bridles, so we are all ready when the children arrive.

After a long period of lockdown from November 2020 we were delighted to start riding again at The Ranch in March 2021. Despite the challenges of this year we managed to have lots of pony fun and riding. We were thrilled to be able to go ahead with our legendary Easter Egg Hunts, Summer Camps and Halloween Pumpkin Rides. Watch the video to find out more!

What happened on the opening day at The Ranch?
We had a cold surprise on our opening day at The Ranch but that didn’t stop us or the ponies from riding. The ponies still had their warm, fluffy coats and were ready for any weather.
How many new ponies arrived this year?
We’ve had some new pony additions to Shetland pony Club this year, including Trooper who travelled all the way from the Shetland Isles.
What did the farmer plant to cheer everyone up?
As well as our amazing wildflower meadows, we were lucky to also have some new, bright and cheery flowers at The Ranch this year. Can you guess what flowers they were?
