Summer Pony Camp Memories
It’s summer pony camp time again, and amazingly, we have been running summer camps for 17 years at Shetland Pony Club.
We came across this lovely old film of summer pony camps from years gone by, which made us laugh and smile. Over the years, so many of our riders and team come back to see us. It’s been such a joy watching everyone grow up and follow their dreams…and to see that our wonderful ponies were a big part of those long lazy summer days of childhood.

There are 2 options for Pony Camps this Summer:
- NEW Half-Day Pony Camps 9:30am-1pm (Mon – Thurs) £395 per week, or £100 per Half Day from age 4
- Full Day Pony Camps – Our Legendary Full Day Camps are packed with themed pony activities 9:30am-4pm (Mon – Thurs) £575 per week, or £150 per day, from age 5

Want to be a Pony Share Member?
You can experience a pony of your own, the easy way, with Pony Share Membership. Learn to ride, build a bond with your pony, come regularly to our club and enjoy pony fun in the countryside.
- Pony Membership – a pony of your own each week, 2 hours, age 4+
- Mini Membership – a pony of your own each week, 45 minutes, age 3+

- We have 1 space for a Full Pony Share Member and 2 spaces for a Mini Members

Amazing Pony Parties
Learn to ride at Shetland Pony Parties – wonderful learn to ride Shetland pony parties for children aged 3 – 10 years old. Use of a private facility, your children can bond with our adorable ponies and learn to ride them, creating magical memories for your child’s birthday. Two hours.

Learn to Ride a Pony at Shetland Pony Club
There are also 2 learn to ride a pony options for your child to enjoy every weekend:
- Starter Rides are 3/4 hour long and specially designed first-riding experiences for children. For children from age 3 +. £55 per child.
- Own a Pony Experiences – are two hours long and are delightful early riding and learning experiences for children from age 4 years old. £85 per child.
Starter Rides
Starter Rides are 45 minutes long and specially designed first-riding experiences for children. Includes pony grooming and a ride on their own adorable Shetland pony. Followed by a certificate presentation. £55 per child. Each child will have their own pony and helper. Children MUST be 3 years old at the time of their ride.
Own a Pony Experiences
Own a Pony Experiences are two hours long and are delightful early riding and learning experiences for children from age 4 years old. Includes lots of riding and pony care. Followed by a rosette presentation. £75 per child. Each child will have their own pony and helper.
Two-hour session – £85 per child
New Shetland Pony Picnics
Come on a perfect Pony Picnic this summer. Enjoy a summer stroll with a Shetland Pony followed by a delicious cream tea picnic at our charming picnic spots. Learn about the ponies and our wildflower nature projects at Shetland Pony Club.
Your Perfect Pony Picnic Afternoon
Come and experience your perfect afternoon with a Shetland Pony and a Picnic with friends. Meet your adorable Shetland pony, learn about him and how to lead him. Pack up your cream tea and rug for your pony to carry in his pony panniers and enjoy a summer stroll along our pony paths with our knowledgeable guide. Experience nature first-hand, walking with your perfect pony partner. Round off your summer saunter at your perfect pony picnic pitch. Relax and enjoy a delightful cream tea with a view in a stylish picnic spot. Your pony can relax alongside your picnic patch.
A Shetland Pony Picnic is the perfect way for grown-ups and children age 5+ to enjoy the company of Shetland ponies and friends in the beautiful Surrey countryside.
