King’s Coronation Celebration Pony Rides

Saturday 6 May, Sunday 7 May and Monday 8 May at 2:30pm.

Come and join us for our King’s Coronation Celebration Pony Rides on Saturday 6 May, Sunday 7 May and Monday 8 May at 2:30pm. Join in the pony fun with Coronation -themed Pony Dress–Up. Riding along our Coronation Trail around beautiful meadows, followed by the opportunity to take special Coronation photos. Ages 4 to 10 years old. One and a half hours – £75 per child.

Volunteer at Shetland Pony Club for The King’s Coronation Big Help Out Day

Monday 8th May

We need help to move a big sandpile down the hill to a pony training pen please bring bucket and spades if you have them. All volunteers are welcome and must be registered. The time-slots are:

10 am
11 am
12 pm

Help move the sand for one hour followed by a cup of tea at our pony street party.

Please register online here

Please wear outdoor clothes sensible shoes trainers or wellingtons if wet.
We will be moving the sand using wheelbarrows buckets and spades.
Please bring a donation of party food for a hungry volunteers to enjoy at a street party after the work is done .
There will be coronation photo opportunities with the ponies

Own a Pony Experiences

Own a Pony Experiences are two hours long and are delightful early riding and learning experiences for children from age 4 years old. Includes lots of riding and pony care. Followed by a rosette presentation. £75 per child. Each child will have their own pony and helper.

May Half Term 29 May- 2 June 2023:

We have Starter Rides and Own a Pony Experiences during May Half term.

Starter Rides are 45 mins long and specially designed first riding experiences for children. Includes pony grooming and a ride on their own pony. Followed by a certificate presentation. £50 per child. Each child will have their own pony and helper. Please note your child MUST be 3 years old at the time of their ride.

Shetland Pony Parties – Amazing pony parties for children aged 3 -10 years old. Use of a private facility with 6 ponies, creating magical memories for your child’s birthday. One and a half hours – £750 for 10 children. Extra riding children (up to 18), £30 each. Next availability:

A Shetland Pony Walking Experience is the perfect way for grown-ups and everyone aged 11+ to enjoy Shetland Ponies in the beautiful Surrey countryside. Spend time learning all about Shetland Ponies and pick your favourite pony to take for a walk. Our experienced staff will help you to groom and lead your pony around the meadows with plenty of opportunities for photos! Care for your own pony on return and finish off with delicious brownies and coffee. 1 hour £50 per person

Summer Camp days and weeks – enjoy the whole day with your favourite Shetland pony. Learn to ride him, look after him and enjoy being with him all day long. 9:30am – 4pm, Summer holidays only. Age 5+. £150/day or £600/ 4 day week.

Pony Care Course- Have fun learning to take care of your favourite Shetland Pony. Learn how to feed, groom and care for your pony’s health. Enjoy Pony agility and horse whispering. Non riding course of 5 sessions of 2 hours £175/ person. Suitable for adults and children aged 11+. Receive an ABRS (Association of British Riding Schools) Certificate and rosette on completion of the course.
