Keeping Shetland ponies in a natural way
We are often asked, where do our Shetland ponies live? Do they have stables nearby and what do they need to eat to be healthy?
Keeping Shetland ponies in a natural way
At Shetland Pony Club, we have been keeping our Shetland ponies in a natural way for over 10 years, at our Ranch in Surrey.
Shetland ponies are best kept on a variety of long grasses and different plants, in large fields where there is a choice of foods and natural shelter.
Our meadows have been rewilded over 10 years and have the right mix of organic plants to keep our ponies healthy.
